RCET: Scotland’s Armed Forces Children’s Charity can provide a range of resources to those who work with Armed Forces children and young people to enable them to provide better support to them during important life transitions such as moving schools, making and keeping friendships, and the impacts of weekending and deployments.

Resource Boxes

With funding from the New Park Education Trust, we produced Resource Boxes and distributed these across Scotland to provide much-needed resources, advice and support to professionals supporting Armed Forces children.

The resource boxes are absolutely amazing, Thank you so much. The Forces Kids DVD is my favourite, it resonates so much with the kids that have watched it. One pupil actually paused it and said ‘Wow that boy is just like me and how I feel!’ He was quite emotional after watching and said ‘Can I take it home and let my sister watch it? She feels like this too.’ He said ‘It’s so good to know what I’ve been feeling is normal’.” Home School Link Worker, Moray Council.
