UPDATE FROM CHEST, HEART & STROKE SCOTLAND:
Unfortunately the Forth Bridge Abseil has been postponed and will no longer be taking place on 14 June 2020. After taking into consideration the Scottish Government’s advice surrounding public gathering during the coronavirus outbreak, the difficult decision has been made to postpone the event in order to keep everyone safe.
The health and safety of all participants, volunteers and staff is our priority, and by postponing the event we hope to relieve pressure on the emergency services and reduce the risk of exposure to the virus.
We are working hard to secure a new date for the abseil, and we will be in touch soon to let you know when the rescheduled Forth Bridge Abseil will be taking place.
Join #TeamRCET and embrace your inner daredevil!
This unique challenge allows you to abseil, free-fall style, like the S.A.S!, from the iconic Forth Rail Bridge, an UNESCO World Heritage Site and Scotland’s best loved landmark. It’s a 165ft drop with a soft landing on the sandy beach below - the ultimate Forth Bridge experience!
The Forth Bridge will also be celebrating its 130th birthday in 2020 – yet another fantastic reason to take part in this phenomenal event.
