It’s time for another review of one of the books from our Education Programme’s Resource Boxes! This month’s review was written by 11-year-old Killian on author Sally Nicholls’ Ways to Live Forever.
“This book tells the story of Sam, a young boy fighting leukaemia and his views on life. He attempts to complete a list of things that wants to achieve in his life. He and his friend Felix adapt and achieve these goals to the best of their abilities, taking their own spin on things and living life to the fullest.
I think that Sam is a very likeable character because of his characteristics and he is very relatable in the way he chooses to live his life. I think the message they are trying to get across is to make the most of life and be happy with what you have. I would recommend this book to early teenagers and pre-teens.”
